The Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce awards yearly scholorships to
local schools and donates to many charities in the community. 

On Thursday, June 19, 2014, The New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce presented a donation to Michael McBride for the Katie McBride Foundation, alocal non profit organization which will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island.

Academy of Finance, New Hyde Park Memorial H.S.

On Wednesday June 18th, the Academy of Finance had their graduation dinner at The Inn at New Hyde Park. The New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce presented scholarship awards of $500 each to Abie Varghese, Valedictorian and Samantha Longo, Student Council President. Both students excelled in the Academy of Finance program and were involved in many school activities and programs. They also volunteered their time in community organizations.

On Friday June 13th Richard DeMartino and Cheryl Fajardo from the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Benevolence Committee presented Cindy Ko, from Great Neck South High School with a $500 Scholarship award for Community Service.

Senior Awards Assembly
On Friday June 13th Peter Caputo, Past President and member of the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Benevo- lence Committee presented a scholar- ship award of $500 for Business Studies to Nicholas Longman at the Senior Awards Assembly.

 

Sewanhaka High School
Cheryl Fajardo, Co-Chair of the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Benevolence Fund presented a scholarship award of $500 to Michael Mosie graduating senior at Sewanhaka High School. Michael excelled in his academic studies and was involved in community activities.


 

The Gladiator Fund's 25th Annual Fundraiser

The Gladiator Fund held it's 25th Annual Fundraiser on May 9th 2014 for the benefit of  Susan Barbieri Solleri and Donald Barbieri.  The New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Benevolence Fund made a donation of $1,000.  The Gladiator Fund raises funds to help individuals with serious medical conditions from New Hyde Park.
