The New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Benevolent Trust Fund supported the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County “Forget Me Not Ball” with a $500 donation.
For the past 66 years, the monies raised at the Ball have helped fund vital programs and services at CP Nassau for individuals with disabilities. The New Hyde Park Chamber is proud to be part of the “Forget Me Not Ball’s” success and making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

On Sept 8, 2017 the Gladiator Fund held their annual Golf Outing with lunch at the Inn at New Hyde Park.
The Gladiator Fund has helped raise money for children and adults in the community of New Hyde Park who have been afflicted with a catastrophic illness, disease, disability or handicap. The New Hyde Park Chamber has been an annual supporter and made a donation of $750.00.

The NHP Chamber of Commerce was a float sponsor for the New Hyde Park Memorial High School Homecoming Day Parade which was held on Saturday Oct 21, 2017. The float was for the class of 2022 which featured the Incredible Hulk. The NHP Chamber sponsors a float each year.

On October 21, 2017, The Casey Falconer Foundation held its annual fund raiser at the Plattdeutsche Restaurant in Franklin Square.
The New Hyde Park Chamber Benevolence committee supported the event with a $500 donation.

On Veteran’s Day, Saturday, November 11th the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce presented a $1000 donation at the New Hyde Park Fire Department headquarters

The Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Benevolence Fund supported the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County Forget Me Not Ball with a $750.00 donation. The event was held on November 11, 2017 . The organization is designating 10% of net profits from their next five fundraising events and will donate these funds to select organizations that are assisting individuals with disabilities in the hurricane effected areas of Houston, Florida and Puerto Rico. On February 21st. the Benevolence Committee of the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce made a donation to the Nassau County Firefighters Wounded Warriors fund. The presentation took place at Gino’s Pizzeria and Restaurant, on Jericho Turnpike, at the Chamber’s monthly meeting.

On March 26th, the Benevolence Committee of the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber made a $500 donation to the New Hyde Park chapter of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to help the fight against childhood cancer.
