On Friday, October 25, 2024 Chamber Board Member and Past President, Jeanette Frisina was chosen and awarded Businessperson Of The Year for 2024 by the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce.  Jeanette was chosen for her many years of dedicated service to the NHP Chamber of Commerce and the local community.

Jeanette is the publisher of the local paper, Market Place Publications for over, 32 years.  Being in the advertising business, naturally she volunteers her time to head up the Marketing Committee for the chamber to help it grow and to give more exposure to its members so they can prosper.  Jeanette collaborates and designs the Chambers yearly printed directory which gets distributed throughout New Hyde Park. She provides graphic services as well for whatever the chamber needs.

She serves on the Chambers Membership Committee and is one of  the top recruiters of new members.  Jeanette also coordinates the Chamber's Red Carpet Ribbon Cutting ceremonies for new businesses. She has been recognized as someone who is very passionate about giving back to the community and assisting local businesses to thrive and prosper.
Her experience and guidance has been a great asset.
